Here are the common causes of hydraulic breaker failures!

A hydraulic hammer is an important tool for excavators, it can be more effective in the construction of stone and rock crushing. In mining, metallurgy, transportation, railways, tunnels, and other construction fields have a wide range of applications. Due to the harsh operating environment, improper use, and other reasons, the hydraulic hammer often has bad symptoms such as reduced frequency of strikes and reduced strength. Here we will look at the common faults and solutions of hydraulic breakers.

1.Frequency drop
The main reasons for a drop in frequency in a hydraulic hammer are insufficient pressure or oil flow in the hydraulic system; brazing rods loos, hydraulic seals broken, contaminated hydraulic grease, malfunctioning safety valves, etc.
Solution: Check the oil pump of the hydraulic hammer and adjust the oil pressure and oil flow rate which are too high or too low in order to achieve control of the hammer head; check the oil circuit of the hydraulic hammer to avoid blockage of the pipeline which affects the impact frequency of the hydraulic hammer; replace the worn parts. Fasten the rod and do a good job of fixing it.

2、Decrease in strength
The reason for the decrease in strength is the leakage of oil circuit; insufficient stroke of hydraulic breaker control bolt, blockage of hydraulic hydraulic oil circuit, high oil temperature of hydraulic hammer, these will cause the hydraulic rock breaker to have lower impact force, insufficient impact stroke and the overall working performance of hydraulic breaker decreases.
Solution: Check and adjust the pressure of the hydraulic system and nitrogen, if the parts are poorly sealed, the components can be ground or replaced, and the hydraulic pipeline can be cleaned.

3、Inconsistent action
There are three main situations in which poor action continuity occurs.

Firstly, the oil circuit is blocked, resulting in poor oil supply and the piston not being able to obtain a stable power. Insufficient pressure value of the hydraulic system, wrong direction of the reversing valve, stuck piston, malfunctioning shut-off valve lead to impact stagnation and other problems. Then there is the jamming of the Hydraulic breaker rod, and the continuity and periodicity of the hydraulic hammer is affected.
The solution: check the hydraulic oil circuit and clean or replace the blocked parts in time; focus on the oil pipe interface, direction of reversing valve, stop valve and piston; check and adjust the state of the  rod, polish the problematic rod with a grinding wheel and fill with lubricant in time.

4、Oil leakage
The main reason for oil leakage is excessive wear of parts such as seals and deterioration of sealing. Loose oil joints.
Solution: According to the specific location of oil leakage, replace the corresponding sealing ring and tighten the oil pipe joint.
5, hydraulic hammer oil pipe abnormal vibration
The accumulator gas leakage diaphragm is damaged and the nitrogen pressure of the crushing hammer shank is reduced.
Solution: Check the gas pressure of the accumulator. If the pressure cannot be maintained as specified, the diaphragm should be checked for damage. In addition to adjust the nitrogen pressure of the hydraulic breaking hammer to make it balanced.
